At Electric Dream Machine (EDM) we are a team of electric vehicle enthusiasts, mechanics, designers, and engineers with a passion for all things electric. Our goal is to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles in Australia by converting classic cars into electric drive. Where we can we repurpose quality OEM components (such as batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, water pumps, and electronics) while preserving the classic looks and style of the car, but without the toxic fumes, oil, and noise.

EDM completed a full EV conversion of my 1975 kombi. It was a significant job that presented a few engineering challenges, along with access to some key components the process took some time.
